How many Buried lighters do you have?
Few films have focused on a Zippo lighter like Buried. The poor guy buried alive in a coffin in Iraq is Paul Conroy. He only has a knife, his cell phone and a Zippo lighter.
The lighter is a stock windproof lighter with a Street Chrome finish. Several lighters with the Buried theme have been produced by Zippo in 2009 and 2010. Lighters like these are highly prized by collectors.
The model used in the film. Zippo introduced Street Chrome in 2001.
Special lighter distributed by Warner Brothers in Italy. Below the Buried logo is Sepolto which means “buried” in Italian.
Warner Brothers also distributed the same design in Spain with the word Enterrado as a subtitle.
This Satin Chrome lighter featured the Buried logo and was distributed at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2010. The lighters were provided as favors at the Zippo "Light Up The Deer Party" and the Filmmaker's Dinner in Park City.
This lighter was commissioned by Lionsgate Entertainment to commemorate the premier of the film in New York on September 16, 2010.
